About BA-Library & Information Science...

The Department has been updating its curriculum to the contemporary needs of the LIS professional practices and adapting to the changes timely. Since 1971 it introduced the curriculum on Library Science and later the application of computers in library systems and services. Today it has developed a good IT Laboratory to prepare the students for the emerging library and information services environment. The Faculty members of the department have also adopted to the changing needs and have acquired sufficient knowledge and skills for teaching, research in the emerging subjects.
